PERSONAL

Hi, I’m David Cornelis Mokalu, founder of @CofoundersNote. I’m a former Investment Manager (OJK Licensed) since 2007 turned business builder and a strategic finance-investment specialist. Startups, SMEs (UMKM), and Regionally Owned Enterprises (BUMD) all fell into my sphere of interest.

QUALIFICATION

I hail from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. I have a background in Accounting & Capital Market at Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN), in Business Management at Asian Banking Finance and Informatics Institute Perbanas, in Applied Finance at Binus Business School, and in Management Business specialized in Finance at IPB Business School.

EXPERIENCE

Currently I’m the CFO of a startup and the Partner of the Private Equity company. I’m an advisor of 8 companies in the past 12 years, also a mentor and an investor in a few companies including E-Commerce, Edtech, Environment, Financial, Literacy, Media, Tech, and Travel Startups.
